In search for local news aside frim radio. I scanned channels through my cable TV. I usually watch ABS-CBN for local news, but darn solid as Kapuso. lol. Ive passed by this Channel, ABC TV 5 Tacloban. I thought this tv a sport channel knowing that they cover PBA games before. Im not just sure now.

As i watch and listen to their commeantaries it seems that this network is so biased in the opinions regarding political issues happening in Tacloban. I believe this is the worst tv program ever happend in Tacloban as well in this region. They are full of personal attacks, sensationalism, ans less factual. I never imagine Bob Abellanosa being the station manager of this network to be highly politicized. Bob, being a veteran journalist having been in almost all radio stations and tv gere in Tacloban.

It only shows that tv personalities and politics should not mix. What makes things worse is that the network, is co manage by Wilson Uy. A businessman of almost all kinds of trades of gasoline, liquors, coffee, food, hardwares, retail goods, construction materials and so much more and now tv and politics.

If you listen closely, i believe they do not adhere with the code of ethics of the KBP. They think KBP is not monitoring them considering that we are far from Manila.

Fairness and objectivity is far from their existent. The news interviews are scripted and reharsed. Same topic of news are constantly repeated in their news countdowns while no interviews being presented to the other side. If there is one, its not of the same time frame.

The presentation of news and commentaries are done in a manner that create panic and alarm to the viewing public. Its about time KBP should take action on this. Otherwise, propagandas of bad and foul taste will continue that will affect the peaceful life of Taclobanons.

I agree. The media shouldnt be biased. Bob abellanosa is a dumb councilor, nonsense newscaster, and a joke. ABS CBN Tacloban is not campaigning for yes and for no. neutral lang sila. TV 5 is biased and the worst one. I agree kama-o.

and i don't see bob abellanosa anymore in sentro tacloban except of his segment punto-dericho with his fellow councilors who oppose HUC

For Bob, i think he'll not gonna won again he even barely entered the last position in the city council. Rindo, also a nonsense. He just use the radio to enhance himself. And for Wilson, no way. A Chinese-trapo, politician whose primary purpose is to protect and expand his business.. Now we'll continue to boycott his businesses as well like Bos coffee, Hanz graphics, Shell stations, coffee shop in Palo among the few.. Theres other competitive products out there.

nothing is new of media people in tacloban city, mga AC-DC it hira, in politics there will always be two sides of any issues, and somebody is bank rolling these media people. they are being compensated of what they say thru any form of medium? so, as always, the case of the personality mentioned, all these are politicians and damned they will be on the other side of the coin. i don't think they are graduates of journalism, more so of bob, ergo no ethics will seep thru their vein and feeble-minded brain.
