Nov. 15-16, 2008 - @ at the City Engineer’s Office (CEO) Gym Alfred's indoor soccer festival slated in Tacloban on Nov. 15-16
The 1st Mayor Alfred Romualdez Five-A-Side Futsal (Indoor Soccer) Festival 2008 at the City Engineer’s Office (CEO) Gym from November 15-16.
The grand champion of the Men’s Open Division will receive P 5, 000 plus trophy, the first runner up 3, 500, 2nd runner-up 2, 500, and the 3rd runner-up 1, 500.
The champion of the 14- and Under Division will bring home 3, 000 plus trophy, the first runner-up 2, 500, 2nd runner-up 1, 500 and the 3rd runner up 1, 000.
Futsal, an organized form of indoor soccer, originated in Uruguay in 1930. It was introduced to the country in 1998.
The tournament is open to teams from this city and outside. Registration fee is P500 and registration deadline is on Nov. 15.
