Should the Roman Catholic Church change its current position of forbidding the use of contraception?
YES, because of our rapid growth in population today, coupled with the high cost of living. Majority of our population is unemployed and poor. Individuals should be entitled to choose when to have children, if they wish to. 66%  66%  [ 2 ]

POLL QUESTION: Should the Roman Catholic Church change its current position of forbidding the use of contraception?

We are a country with a population that is about to explode. Natural birth control doesn’t work, so we’re now overpopulated. It’s time the Catholic Church changed its policy on the use of contraceptives.

We don’t expect the church to change its current position, but they should recognize that population explosion is a problem that affects our daily existence.

The Catholic Church should let reason prevail over tradition. The choice of which path to tread for responsible parenthood should be left to the couple.

Actually, NFP isn't that "ineffective" if done properly and couples don't cheat :D . Read unbiased information at http://ccli.org/nfp/basics/effectiveness-p01.php
