June 12 to 14 2009 - @ the Tacloban City Convention Center Three-day job fairs in Tacloban
Close to 10,000 local and overseas jobs will be offered during a three-day jobs fair here this week in line with the celebration of Independence Day.
Some 5,600 jobs are available within Eastern Visayas, while 3,864 overseas jobs will be up for grabs. The fair will be held at the Tacloban City Convention Center.
The first day of the job fair on June 12 would feature government agencies offering 5,284 vacancies, especially under the national government’s Comprehensive Livelihood Emergency Employment Program.
On Day 2, private local companies will offer a total of 316 jobs.
The third day will feature recruitment agencies offering some 3,864 sea-based and land-based overseas employment.
