May 16-18 2009 - at the Astrodome, Tacloban City 1st Mayor Romualdez Basketball Coaching Clinic 2009
The Tacloban City Sports Office in cooperation with the Active Basketball Academy, Events Unlimited and the Basketball Coaches Association of the Philippines (BCAP) will hold the 1st Mayor Alfred Romualdez Basketball Coaching Clinic from May 16-18 at the Tacloban City Astrodome.
The clinic will be held at the said venue 1-4 p.m. (May 16-17) and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (May 18).
Clinic will be handled by Coach Andres Narvasa, BCAP president; Coach Cayetano Gonzales, UAAP deputy commissioner; Coach Glen Capacio, head coach FEU Tamaraws; and Coach Louie Gonzales, FEU Tamaraws assistant coach.
In the duration of the clinic, participants will be taught the coaching philosophy, creating the basketball program, basic strength and conditioning, fundamental skills, organizing the practices and mental aspect in basketball, among other things.
Clinic is open to all coaches and interested individuals from this city and other parts of the region.
Registration fee: P1,000 inclusive of three snacks, one meal, and BCAP Accreditation.
