May 16 and 17 2009 - at the Astrodome, Tacloban City Paraqaque All-Stars vs Tacloban's Cindy's All-Stars
The Paraqaque All-Stars, a team composed of some of the best professional and collegiate players in the country, will play two exhibition games versus the Tacloban Cindy’s All-Stars at the Tacloban City Astrodome next week.
The exhibition games are meant to entertain Taclobanons and expose local talents to professional basketball play.
The Cindy’s All-Stars, which is composed of local standouts, is expected to engage the Paraqaque squad in two thrilling matches to be held at the Astrodome on May 16 and 17.
The Paraqaque quintet will be bannered by former Red Bull Barako Nat Mercado. Former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) star Glen Capacio, who hails from Palo, Leyte, and his assistant Louie Gonzales will call the shots for the team.
Tickets are available at the following outlets: Cindy’s Tacloban, Delos Reyes Pawnshop, ABS-CBN office, and Ortega’s Residence in Palo. P100 (upper box) P75 (ring side) P50 (bleacher)
