October 15 and 16, 2009 @ the People's Center Leyte Business Month jobs fair
In connection with the 3rd Leyte Province Business Month this month of October, and in support of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's thrust of creating employment for the jobless Filipinos, a Jobs Fair will be conducted on October 15 and 16, 2009, at the People's Center.
The Jobs Fair is scheduled on October 15 at 8:00 o'clock to 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon; and on October 16, from 8:00 o'clock in the morning to 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon.
One of the companies which will be recruiting employees is the first call center in Leyte, APAC which needs several hundred employees, about 800 slots.
The focus for this year's, jobs fair is that on IT job opportunities. In fact, a presentation on the opportunities as medical transcriptionist will also be conducted during those dates.
Interested applicants are advised to bring along with them
- their resumes - ID pictures - school credentials - certificate of employment - certificate of training
and other pertinent documents relative to employment.
